The Grapes of Wrath is regarded as an epic in literature,it not only reflects the people＇s consciousness of rebellion and revolt under oppression and exploitation,reveals the social problems of that time,which is of great significance in that era; it also implies a profound discussion of the author on the relationship between man and nature,man and man,expresses the author＇s ecological thought,shows the author＇s concern for human＇s survival and the fate of the future. It is also a great work with ecological feature and its ecological thought can be an enlightenment and reference for the current society.
