摘要
随着HLS、Smooth Streaming等HTTP流媒体技术的不断普及,以及用户访问量、访问密度的不断增长,视频服务器的分发能力将面临严峻的挑战,存储的I/O速度便成为视频服务器分发能力的瓶颈之一。通过对视频服务器的存储研究,以Microsoft IIS Media Services 4.1为例,提出了一种基于Ramdisk的多屏视频服务器优化方法,并讨论了其可行性和适用范围。
With the growing popularity of HLS,Smooth Streaming and other HTTP streaming media technologies,andthe increasing of visitors and access density,the distribution capability of video servers are facing serious challenges. I/Ospeed has become one of the bottle necks of memories. Taking video server in Microsoft IIS Media Services 4.1 as an example,this paper presents a Ramdisk-based optimization method for multi-screen video servers and discusses its feasibility andapplication scope.
