摘要
教学、科研与社会服务是现代大学的三大功能,高校的发展须围绕此三大功能而进行。对于地方高校而言,其具体功能和办学目标与研究型大学有别,偏重培养区域社会应用型人才,更强化其对地方经济与文化的服务功能。文章拟从教学、科研和社会服务三个维度探索地方新建本科院校的发展之道:一是强化地方高校的教学组织功能,即加强教学环节与实践,使学生在掌握扎实基础知识与基本技能的同时提高参与实践的能力和动手能力;二是科研发展强调合作联盟,与地方经济发展相结合,协同创新;三是增加高校社会服务的评价指标权重,强调高校对本地经济与文化的推进与引领。
Teaching,research and social service arc the three major functions of university,which arc of great cohesive significance as to the development of universities. As for local universities, these fimctions and their educational goals are different from those of research-oriented universities, which arc focused on the cultivation of application-oriented talents and emphasize their roles in promoting the local economic and cultural development. The paper is going to explore the development path for the newly-built local universities from the aspects of teaching, aca- demic research and social service. Fimtly, teaching organization should be strengthened, namely, local universities should reinforce their teaching and practice to equip students with basic knowledge and skills, as well as their operational abilities and their abilities to do practice. Secondly, academic development involves cooperation, which refers to the integration with local economic development and collaborative innovation. Thirdly, the evaluation index weight of social service should be paid attention to while the promoting and the guiding role of local universities in economic and cultural development should be emphasized.
