"何莫非"是一种奇特的组合,它产生于北宋,在清代发展到鼎盛;它仅用于反诘句,表达"什么不……"、"谁不……"、"哪里不……"等义;它的内部构成是"何莫+非";它的语义生成机制很可能是:"何""莫"之间发生了以"何"为主体的词义吸纳融合。
Hemofei（何莫非） is a peculiar combination. It came into being in the Northern Song（宋） Dynasty and developed to peak in the Qing（清） Dynasty. It is only used for rhetorical question.It expressed the meaning of shenmebu...（什么不） or shuibu...（谁不） or nalibu...（哪里不）. Its inner structure is hemo ＋ fei （何莫 ＋ 非 ） o Its semantic formation mechanism is likely semantic absorption and fusion between he （何） and mo （莫）.
