摘要
福建省近年的入境游市场发展态势良好。互联网时代,英文旅游网站本有很大发挥空间,但福建省英文旅游官网却被忽视了。本文从"品牌理论"出发,强调了英文旅游网站建设的重要性,并从"功能主义翻译理论"出发,提出英文旅游网站文本内容必须由其汉语文源编译而来。
Fujian has witnessed its harvest in inbound tourism market in recent years, yet it seems to completely overlook its ofifcial website of Fujian Provincial Tourism Bureau which could have played a great role in the Internet Age. The signiifcance of constructing an excellent English tourism website was stated and elaborated in this paper by applying brand theory, and transeditting was suggested in writing or translating texts for the English tourism website by referring to Skopos theory..
