摘要
为在经济层面落实"亚太再平衡"战略,同时防范两岸经贸经贸往来过于紧密,美国声称支持台湾参与TPP新一轮会谈。但由于美国担忧自己实际利益受损,同时美国对台湾加入TPP的条件和能力也存在质疑,因而美国不会支持台湾实质上加入TPP。美国这种"似迎实拒"的矛盾态度对台湾政局、台美关系等都产生了复杂影响。
In order to realize its “Pivot to Asia”strategy and to prevent the closer economic relationship between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits, the U.S. announces to support Taiwan＇s participation in the coming round of TPP discussion. However, the U. S, will not agree Taiwan to substantially join in the TPP as it is suspicious about Taiwan＇s ability and it also worries about its actual benefits to suffer injury. This paradox- ical policy has created complicated influence on Taiwan and Taiwan-U. S. relationship.
