摘要
新的信息环境下,用户需求和获取信息行为急剧变化,导致图书馆作为信息中心的地位逐渐减弱;如何有效拓展图书馆的服务,重塑图书馆员新角色,有机地融入用户的学习、研究过程,提供嵌入式知识服务,成为转型时期图书馆学研究的新课题。文章在阐述嵌入式知识服务和图书馆员角色转变的基础上,通过文献调研探寻美国图书情报机构开展嵌入式知识服务的成功因素,并以美国加州大学洛杉矶分校图书馆开展的嵌入式知识服务实践作为案例进行分析,以期为我国高校图书馆开展嵌入式知识服务提供借鉴和参考。
In the new information environment, the rapid changes of information demand and information acquisition gradually weaken the central position of library. How to effectively expand library service, reshape the new roles of librarians, organically integrate into the process of users learning and research, and provide embedded knowledge service become new subjects of the library science in the transformation period. Based on the description of the embedded knowledge service and the transformation of librarian role, this paper explores the success factors for developing embedded knowledge service in library and information organizations in the United States, and takes the practice of the embedded knowledge service in the library of University of California-Los Angeles as a case study, in order to provide references for developing embedded knowledge service of university libraries in China.
