迈入21世纪以来,国际风景园林不断发展变化。美国持续领先,新人辈出。法国和德国经历20世纪末的辉煌之后陷入相对沉寂的时期。荷兰拓展了海外实践。以前默默无闻的西班牙、葡萄牙和北欧国家异军突起,受到广泛的关注。中国的风景园林发展迅速。全球化深刻地影响了当代风景园林。在吸取全球经验的同时保持本国的自然与文化特色并不断创新,是世界各个国家风景园林都需要努力的方向。
Landscape architecture in the world kept developing and changing in the new century. Unite States still took the lead and a new generalion of landscape architects grew up. France and Germany turned to fade after the brilliant in the end of the 20th century. Landscape architects in Netherlands explored overseas practice. Spain, Portugal, and Nordic countries which were obscurity became newly emerging forces of the profession and attracted widesprG＇ad attention Landscape architecture developed rapidly in China Globa!ization has had a great impact on the contemporary landscape architecture To Profit from the internationat experience while to maintain local natural and cultural features, as well as keeping innovation, might be the direction of landscape architecture, in all countries.
