Expression of the SF - 1 in adrenal cortical neoplasm : Correlation with clinical significance

摘要 目的讨论类固醇生长因子(SF-1)在肾上腺皮质肿瘤中的表达及其临床意义。方法选取经手术治疗且取得完整临床资料的肾上腺皮质肿瘤石蜡包埋标本52例,其中良性组25例,恶性组(ACC组)27例。采用免疫组化技术,检测并分析良、恶性肾上腺皮质肿瘤中SF-1的表达情况。结果SF-1在ACC组中呈高表达(20/27,74.07%),在良性组中表达低(10/25,40.00%),ACC组与良性组之间SF-1的表达有显著性差异(P〈0.05)。微血管密度(MVD)在ACC组中的表达为(69.22±22.56)/视野,良性组中为(27.764-22.49)/视野,两者之间有显著性差异(P〈0.05)。SF-1表达和MVD呈正相关(P〈0.05),且其表达程度与患者预后有关。结论SF-1高表达可能是肾上腺皮质肿瘤肿瘤性血管生成的重要原因,有望为抗肿瘤靶向治疗在ACC中的应用提供相应的理论依据。 Objectives To investigate the expressions of SF - 1 in adrenal adrenal cortical neoplasm as well as to discuss its clinical significance. Methods 52 adrenal cortical neoplasm samples acquired from patients were examined by immunohistochemistry for the expressions of SF - 1. The patients were stratified into two groups ac- cording to the pathological characteristic, we used a matched pairs approach by selecting for each patient from the be- nign group( n = 25 )and one corresponding patient from the ACC group (n = 27 ). Results We showed that the marjority of ACC patients expressed SF - 1 (20/27,74.07%) . Contrarily, the expression of SF - 1 in the benign group was low( 10/25,40.00% ). There was significant difference( P 〈 0.05 ) between the two groups. Malignant cases showed higher MVD compared to benign tumors (69.22 22.56 vs 27. 76 22.49, P 〈 0.05 ). There was posi- tive correlation between SF - 1 and MVD( P 〈0.01 ). The high expression of SF - 1 might lead to a poor prognosis. Conclusions The high expression of VEGF in ACC may be a event that make contribution to tumor angiogene- sis, which represents a selective target for antiangiogenic therapies.
