摘要
商山四皓是秦末汉初的著名隐士。对于其归隐的原因,汉代以后基本上归结为秦末的混乱,这种说法值得商榷。实际上,秦末战乱和刘邦在秦末汉初对儒生的态度,才是导致四皓归隐的主要原因。四皓出山,在当时的积极意义大于消极意义,对于新建立的汉王朝来讲是利大于弊的。
The four scholars in the Shang Mountains are the eminent hermits at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the early Han Dynasty. As for the reasons for their hermitage, it all boiled down to the cha- os of the end of the Qin Dynasty after the Han Dynasty. This kind of hypothesis is worth consultation. In fact, the primary reasons for the retreat of the four scholars to seclusion are the wartime chaos at the end of the Qin Dynasty and the attitude of Liu Bang to the Confucians at the end of the Qin Dynasty. The end of hermitage of the four scholars was of more positive significance than negative significance at that time, which was of more advantages than disadvantages for the newly-established Han Dynasty.
