摘要
探讨了加拿大能否跨越马赛克式的多元文化主义。这种模式倾向于把各种文化拼合成一张拥有共性的奇特纸张,而忽视了移民自身的认同及特质上的不同。时间将会证实,加拿大是否做好了采用这一多元文化主义治理模式2.0版本准备。该版本旨在形成这样一个框架,以确保多重差异性在后民族国家时代的加拿大能得到保障,这也有利于新时期加拿大的国家安全。
The paper concludes by exploring whether Canada can move beyond a mosaic multiculturalism whose tendency is to conflate cultures into a singular commonality paper over transmigrant identities and intrasecting differences.Time will tell if Canada is ready for a 2.0version of multicultural governance mode in advancing a framework that ensures differentiated differences are kept safe from-yet safe for a postnational Canada（Sandercock 2003;also Parekh2005）.
