摘要
作为警察教育工作者,深刻领会和全面贯彻党的十八届四中全会决定精神,关键在于明确新形势下警察教育的责任和使命。引领警察法治文明建设是警察教育的责任和使命,为实现警察教育的这一责任与使命,警察院校必须立足公安、融入公安、研究公安、服务公安、引领公安,紧紧围绕警察法治文明建设培养优秀的人才、开展卓越的研究、从事优质的服务,必须认真研究制约警察教育履行责任和使命的几个突出问题:即大学精神的培育问题、警察院校的性质问题、警察教育的规律问题等。
It is of vital importance for police educators to understand responsibilities and missions of police education under the new situation for the purpose of comprehending and implementing the decision of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee in a deep and all - round way. To guide construction of rule of law civilization among police is the responsibility and mission of police education. In order to achieve this, universities and colleges of police should integrate into public security work, study public security work, serve public security practice, and guide police officers. Based on construction of rule of law civilization among police, those universities and colleges of police should also cultivate excellent talents, conduct advanced research, provide superior service, study several prominent problems which restrict police education from performing responsibilities and missions, such as cultivation of university spirit, the nature of universities and colleges of police, regularities of police education, etc.
