摘要
英语学习动机与学习过程及学习效果密切相关。本研究关注医学院校大学英语教学环境中以学科内容为依托的语言教学模式(CBI)对学习者英语学习动机和语言水平的影响。研究运用教学实验、测试、问卷与访谈采集数据进行分析。结果表明,内容依托式教学比传统大学英语教学更有效地激发了学习者的英语学习动机,更有助于提高学习者的英语语言水平。
The motivation to learn English is closely related to both the process and results of English learning. This study focuses on the effects of Content-based Instruction( CBI) on learning motivation and language skills of English learners in the context of medical colleges. Teaching experiments,tests,questionnaires and interviews are applied for the collection and analysis of the data. The findings of the study indicate that CBI is more effective than traditional ways of English teaching in stimulating learning motivation,and in enhancing language skills of learners.
