摘要
实时渲染技术一直是图形学中的热点问题,大量模型数据给实时渲染带来了极大的挑战。作为一种有效的控制模型精度方法,LOD算法近年来得到了广泛重视,但已有算法在计算复杂度和保持外形特征等方面兼顾不周。针对此问题,提出了一种基于半边折叠的LOD模型构造方法,在空间距离计算、尖锐特征保持、光照效果等几方面进行了改进。实验结果表明,该算法能较好地保持模型的外形特征,实现起来快速有效。
The real‐time rendering technique is an important topic in CG ,however complex models take huge challenge to real‐time rendering .As an effective way to control model’s precision ,LOD algorithm receives widely recognition in recent years .But most of the existing algorithms are not well considered in computational complexity and maintain the shape characteristics .In view of the above problems ,this paper proposes a method to generate LODs based on half‐edge col‐lapse ,the improving aspects include spatial distance calculation ,holding the sharp features and illumination effect .The experimental results show this algorithm can keep the sharp characters well ,and implement quickly and effective .
