摘要
目前,美国所有类型的高校都开设了面向优秀本科生的荣誉教育,通过采用不同的教学方法、学习风格、课堂环境和师生关系促进优秀学生潜能的最大开发。荣誉项目是美国高校荣誉教育的主要类型,贯穿本科四年的通识类荣誉教育是主导模式,自主学习、导师制和专题讨论是荣誉教育个性化学习的重要特征。在分析美国高校荣誉项目和荣誉学院最佳实践特征的基础上,对我国研究型大学的拔尖创新人才培养工作提出了启示与思考。
Nowadays,almost every type of higher education institution in America provide honors education for excellent undergraduates which employs different teaching methods,learning styles,classroom environment,and teacher-student relationships to develop the best potential of excellent students.Honors program is the main type of distinction education in American universities and colleges.Among others,general honors education throughout the four years is the dominant mode,while independent study,tutorial system and seminars are the major characteristics of honor education.Based on the analysis of the basic characteristics of the fully developed honors program and honors college,this article gives some advice for talent cultivation in Chinese research-oriented universities.
