摘要
英语竞赛是一种寓教于乐的活动,也是一种促进教学的手段。通过问卷调查的方式,针对浙江工业大学外国语学院135名英语专业学生的英语学习动机和英语竞赛对其学习动机的影响进行了调查。据调查显示,英语竞赛对学生学习英语的动机有较大影响,并能转变大部分学生的学习动机,从而提高学生学习的成效。
English competition is a fun activity, and also a kind of method which can promote teaching activities. Through the way of questionnaire survey, this paper aimed at English learning motivation and the influence of English competition for English major students＇ learning motivation, it investigated 135 English major students in the school of foreign languages, Zhejiang University of Technology. According to the survey, English competition has a great influence on students＇ motivation of learning English, and can change most of the students＇ learning motivation, and to improve student learning results.
