摘要
廖七一教授长期致力于翻译研究及翻译教学,取得了可喜的成绩。访谈中,他简要回顾了自己从文学研究转向翻译研究的经历,就翻译研究与学科发展提出了独到的看法,阐述了对翻译研究及其发展趋势的思考,并对MTI中翻译理论课程的设置、目的及功能发表了自己的见解。
This is an interview with Professor Liao Qiyi, a distinguished scholar in translation studies and teach- ing. In this interview, Prof. Liao traces back briefly his turn of academic life from literature research to transla- tion studies, proposes his original ideas on translation studies and its development, and puts forward his sug- gestions on the course of translation theories for MTI students as well.
