雷蒙德·威廉斯是英国新左派文化政治最杰出的"文化马克思主义理论家"。"成人教育"是他从事学术研究的发端。他借助《政治与文学》、新左派文化运动等平台把"成人教育"的文化政治诉求付诸实践,内容丰富、内涵深刻。他从事的"成人教育"理论与实践为英国新左派的勃兴、为英国文化研究和"文化马克思主义"的崛起提供了认知平台和思考语境,这是威廉斯的贡献。
Raymond Williams is a most famous ＂Cultural Marxist Theorist＂ of cultural politics of British New Left. ＂Adult Education＂ is the outset of his engaging in academic study. He puts cultural politics of ＂ Adult Education＂ into practice by means of Politics and Letters and cultural movement of New Left, which is full of richness and profound connotation. His engaging in theory and practice of ＂ Adult Education＂ offers a cognitive platform and thinking context for flourishing British New Left, rising British Cuhural Studies and ＂Cultural Marxism＂, which is Raymond Williams＇contributions.
