摘要
战国时代随着社会发展的演进和激烈变化,荀子的比德思想已超越孔子自然比德而美对君子内圣视域的关注,开始折向积极奋进的外王路径,逐渐表现出由强调人格内在崇高和道德完满的人伦之美向关注仁人君子外在事功、制天命而用之方向的转变,为大一统的实现以及秦汉雄大伟美美学风尚的形成奠定必要的理论基础。
With the evolution and dramatic changes of social development during the Warring States period, Xunzi’s thought on morality symbols transcended Confucius's “sageliness within”, and began to pursue “kingliness without”, which shows the change from emphasizing inner nobility of personality and the perfection of morality to achievements in administering the state. This thought laid a solid theoretical foundation for the realization of unity and the formation of aesthetic fashion advocating greatness and beauty in the Qin and Han Dynasties.
