摘要
随着外语语言教育学科的发展与大学英语课程改革的进一步深入,外语学习者对大学英语课程中的教师与教材都提出了新的要求。地方师范院校发展与生存正面临着相当大的困难和挑战,加之同类院校之间的竞争更加激烈,最终将转化为地方院校师资力量的竞争,这直接对教师专业化水平提出了更高的要求。大学英语课程作为地方院校最为普及的教学活动,它的师资质量对学校未来发展也起到了重要的影响。为了改变地方师范院校大学英语课堂低效率的现状,分析地方师范院校大学英语课程存在的问题与现状是很有必要的。本文试图从教师、教材以及课程设置几个方面切入并提出一些有建设性意义的建议。
With the development of foreign language education disciplines and the further deepening of college English curricu-lum reform, foreign language learners have proposed new re-quirements for both teachers and textbooks in college English course. The survival and development of local normal colleges and universities are faced with considerable difficulties and chal-lenges, and together with the increasingly fierce competitions a-mong peer colleges and universities, the issue will ultimately be transformed into the competition of teaching staffs among local colleges and universities, which has directly proposed higher re-quirements for the professional level of teachers. College English course, as the most popularized teaching activity, exerts an im-portant impact on the quality of teaching staffs and the future de-velopment of colleges and universities. In order to change the current situation of low efficiency in college English classroom teaching in local normal colleges and universities, it is necessary to analyze the existing problems and current situation of colleg e English course in local normal colleges and universities. Starting from the teacher, textbook and curriculum setting, this paper at-tempts to improve some constructive suggestions.
