摘要
高校英语教育事业的发展和教学质量的提升与大学英语教师队伍的专业素养提升息息相关,而目前的现状却令人堪忧。在大学英语改革呼声日益高涨的今天,提高教师专业素质是亟待解决的问题。从专业水平技能、教学方法和理论以及科研能力等方面提出了拓展的途径和方法。
The professional quality of college English teachers is closely related to the performance of higher English education. But the present practice is far from satisfactory. It＇s urgent for college English teachers to make some changes. This paper explores the ways to enhance the college English＇s professional achievements in three aspects： professional skills, teaching methods and scientific research ability.
