摘要
大学功能与职能的关系一直为人所关注,当下大学功能的弱化与职能的泛化导致大学被许多外在的不断增加的职能所负累,而内在的本质的功能却被遮蔽与迷失。大学应以知识的保存与发展作为其功能的核心,这不仅从大学产生与发展的角度来考察是正确的,而且逻辑上也符合了大学的本质特征。
The relationship between the function and the use of a university has constantly arrested public concern.The present weakening of its function and generalizing of its use have resulted in its over-burden from many external functions while its internal essential function has been covered up and lost.However,a university should take preserving and developing of knowledge as its core function,which is not only appropriate from the perspective of the appearance and development of universities but also logical in terms of the essential characteristics of a university.
