摘要
英语学习动机缺失已成为我国非英语专业大学生英语学习中比较突出的问题。然而,相对于主流的外语学习动机研究而言,学习动机缺失研究还相当欠缺、薄弱,亟待深入开展。本文对150名非英语专业大学生在学习动机缺失方面进行了调查分析,对引起学习动机缺失的原因,进行了详细论述和深层挖掘,并提出了相应的对策和建议。
Demotivation has not been extensively researched and discussed due to its negative orientation, though it plays an important role in Chinese EFL learners' learning process. This paper investigates 150 university EFL learners' perspective of demotivating factors through the use of a questionnaire survey, class-room observation and follow-up interviews. Many demotivating factors were identified. Meanwhile, some strategies were discussed in order to prevent or minimize demotivation and facilitate remotivation. It is hoped that the win-win situation of EFL teaching and learning can be realized finally.
