摘要
隐喻的本质是一种把抽象范畴概念化的强大的认知工具,是人类的一种思维方式。隐喻思维的创新特征也有助于英语教育的创新性研究:一是有助于培养学生的创新能力,增强创新意识;二是有助于培养学生的跨文化意识,增强交际能力;三是有助于培养学生的英语思维和语言习惯等。通过隐喻的认知研究以及隐喻对英语创新教育的促进作用,可以针对当前英语教育存在的一些问题加以改善,探索英语创新教育的模式。
The paper is trying to find out a good way of English innovative education according to the study of the theories of cognitive metaphor. The nature of metaphor is a powerful cognitive tool and a way of thinking. The innovative characteristics of metaphorical thinking are helpful to the study of English innovative education: firstly it is good to foster innovative abilities; secondly it is helpful to cultivate cross-cultural awareness; thirdly it is good to foster English ways of thinking and language customs.
