摘要
从晚清中华民族为了救亡与生存的不断抗争,到如今迈向伟大复兴之路的历史进程中,中国人民先后掀起了数次带有民众启蒙性质的"阅读革命"。北京因其独特的地理、文化、历史等方面的有利条件,在历次"阅读革命"中发挥了非常重要的作用。了解北京在中国晚清"阅读革命"中所扮演的角色与表现,对于促进当今北京地区的阅读文化发展,提高人们阅读能力,增强居民文化素质,弘扬中华民族的优秀文化,传承中华民族爱读书勤学习的良好风尚,都具有十分重要的现实意义。
From the national salvation fights in the late Qing Dynasty to the great rejuvenation nowadays, the Chinese people have raised several ＂reading revolutions＂ with public enlightenment. Because of its unique advantages in aspects of geography, culture, and history, Beijing has played a very important role in all previous ＂reading revolution＂. It＇s of great significance to know Beijing＇s role and performance in the ＂reading revolution＂ in late Qing dynasty for us to promote reading culture in today＇s Beijing area development,improve people＇s reading ability, enhance residents＇ cultural qualities, to carry forward the excellent culture of the Chinese nation,inheriting love reading frequently good habit of learning of the Chinese nation.
