摘要
个体化社会是指某种具体的个体化进程正在其中发生着的社会。学校的教育功能是个体社会化,包括个体个性化与个体共性化两个方面。我国社会的个体化进程无论对个体的个性化还是共性化都呈现出一种"双刃剑"式的影响,同时也使个性化逐渐取代共性化成为个体社会化的主导成分。面对个体化进程所带来的挑战,学校教育一方面要把培养的重心从培养共性转移到培养个性上来,实现教育目的的个性化;另一方面则要在"走向个人"的同时"回归集体",实现教育手段的社会化。惟其如此,才能培养出高社会性发展的"个性人"。
An individualized society means a society within which a specific process of individualization is undergoing. The educational function of school is socialization, which is constituted by individuation and homogenization. To both of these two aspects, the individualization of China is actually a double-edged sword. Meanwhile, individuation has replaced homogenization as the predominant ingredient of the process of socialization. Facing the challenge of individualization, school education should focus more on individuation than homogenization and use collective education to balance the individualistic trend so as to ensure the social development of highly individuated students.
