摘要
以4-烯丙氧基苯甲酰氯和4-羟基联苯氰为原料,经缩合反应合成了一种新型的液晶基元4-烯丙氧基苯甲酸-4'-羟基联苯氰酯(2,产率71.6%);将2接枝到聚甲基氢硅氧烷的主链上合成了一种新型的香蕉型B1相聚硅氧烷侧链液晶(4,产率70.0%)。2和4的结构经1H NMR和FT-IR表征。用热台偏光显微镜(POM)和X-射线衍射仪(XRD)对2和4的液晶相类型和液晶相行为进行观察和分析;采用差示扫描量热法(DSC)和综合热分析法(TGA)对其热性能进行分析。结果表明,4的介晶区间为106.81℃,较2(82.50℃)有所提高;4在升降温过程中分别呈现出近晶A相和较特殊的香蕉型B1相织构。
A new liquid-crystalline monomer,4-allyloxy-benzoic acid-4'-cyano-biphenol (2),was prepared by condensation reaction of 4-allyloxy-benzoic acyl chloride with 4'-cyano-biphenol.A novel type of side-chain liquid-crystalline polysiloxane(4) in yield of 70.0% was synthesized by graft polymerization of 2 with polymethyl hydrogen siloxane.The structures of 2 and 4 were characterized by 1 H NMR and FT-IR.The liquid crystalline phase type of 2 and 4 were observed by polarizing optical microscopy(POM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD).The liquid crystalline phase behavior and thermo properties of 2 and 4 were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermal gravimetric analyzer(TGA).The results showed that the mesophase temperature range(106.81℃) of 4 was broader than 2(82.50 ℃).Meanwhile,4 exhibited a smectic A phase texture and banana B1 phase texture during the heating and cooling cycle,respectively.
