摘要
农业社会、工业社会、后工业社会是人类社会的三种典型形态。与这三种社会形态相对应,在政府与社会的关系处理上,呈现出一幅从社会统治到社会管理再到社会治理的演化图景。其中,社会治理作为一个由学界首先发起,然后被政界认可和沿用,并因此再次引起学界热烈讨论的话题,经历了和正在经历着从理论到实践再到理论的变迁过程。然而,在貌似热闹的表象背后,却潜藏着对社会治理的基本问题研究乏力的危机。有鉴于此,本刊精心组织三篇专题文章,分别从社会治理的基本维度、社会治理的创新场域、社会治理的历史进程等角度展开论述,以期引起更加广泛深入的讨论。
Editor＇s Note： Social governance, as a topic first initiated by the academic community, then recognized and adopted by the political arena, and in turn discussed by the academic community with certain zest, has undergone a process of evolu- tion from theory to practice and then back to theory. However, behind the seemingly enthusiastic appearance, there lurks the crisis caused by the lack of studies on some basic issues in social governance. In response, the editorial team has organ- ized three feature articles to address the issues from different perspectives involving the basic dimensions of social govern- ance, innovative field for social governance, and historical process of social governance, so as to attract more insights from experts.
