摘要
文章基于企业技能结构视角,依据企业出口行为决策与技能构成理论模型建立计量模型,运用中国制造业企业微观层面出口贸易数据,实证分析中国制造业企业出口、出口目的地与企业工资水平之间的相关关系。实证结果表明,企业出口密集度、向高收入国家出口占比与企业工资水平呈显著正相关关系。采用工具变量估计方法进行检验,发现向高收入国家出口显著促进了企业工资水平的提高,而出口本身对企业工资水平的提高并没有显著的因果影响。文章进一步验证了质量升级机制和出口目的地特定服务机制在中国制造业企业出口行为中成立。
Based on the perspective of skill structure, this paper establishes an econometricmodel according to the theoretical model of export decision and skill composition, andadopts a full set of micro-level Chinese manufacturing enterprises' exporting data toempirically analyze the correlation among export behavior, export destination and wagelevel. The empirical results indicate that finns' export intensity and ratios of export tohigh-income countries have a significant and positive correlation with their average wagelevel The test with the instrumental variable estimation method finds that finns' exports tohigh-income countries significantly boost their average wage level, while the export per sedoes not have a causal impact on the wage improvement. It further validates the role of thequality upgrading mechanism and destination-oriented specific service mechanism in theexport behavior of Chinese manufacturing enterprises. The conclusion provides an empiricalsupport and mechanism interpretation for the export behavior of Chinese manufacturingenterprises.
