摘要
本文对高科技英语缩略语中几种新的特点 ,如字母替代、小写、数字化、同形异义、多次缩略、模仿、省略、同音代替等进行了分析 ,并阐述了这些现象的原因 ,以便使我们了解这些缩略形式的派生和组合规律 。
The present paper has not only analyzed the new features of English hi tech abbreviations such as alphabetical substitution, the use of minuscule, digital representation of abbreviated letters, homonymy, abbreviation of abbreviations, omission, and homophonic substitution, but also expounded on the causes for the features, the purpose of which is to help familiarize ourselves with the principles of their derivation and formation, and to facilitate the use of such words.
