摘要
中世纪的拜占庭帝国 (32 4— 145 3年 )曾经较好地保存了古典时期的历史遗产 ,成为中世纪地中海上首屈一指的大国 ,但终于没有摆脱最后被奥斯曼土耳其人灭亡的命运。在拜占庭帝国衰亡的历史中 ,军区制的兴衰和其政体内部存在的问题是起主要的、根本的作用 。
Medieval Byzantine Empire had kept very well the inheritance of classic period, and was the first great Empire of Mediterranean. It had resisted stubbornly the enemies coming from all around, and was good defender of Western medieval civilization . Nevertherless, it coulden't avoid being be conquered by Ottmans, and declined disastrously. The decline of Byzantine Empire was pursued by various elements.
