15日龄雏鸡试验感染Eimeriatenella后的第 9d ,按抗球虫药物疗效评定方法确定盲肠病变值并同时测定盲肠、肝、脾和肾脏的LPO含量和SOD、GSH -Px活性水平。结果显示 :球虫感染及感染用药鸡的盲肠出现不同程度的病理损伤 ,盲肠组织LPO含量极显著 (P <0 .0 1)高于健康对照鸡 ,而SOD和GSH -Px活性下降或极显著 (P <0 .0 1)低于健康鸡 ,可见盲肠病变值与LPO含量增高及SOD、GSH -Px活性降低呈正相关 ;感染鸡肝、肾的LPO含量低于或极显著 (P <0 .0 1)低于健康鸡 ,但脾脏则极显著 (P <0 .0 1)高于健康鸡。此外 ,球虫感染鸡与健康鸡相比 ,肝、脾和肾脏的SOD活性显著 (P <0 .0 5)或极显著 (P <0 .0 1)高 ; 脾、肾的GSH -Px活性显著 (P <0 .0 5)或极显著 (P <0 .0 1)高 ,而肝脏则显著 (P <0 .0 5)或极显著 (P <0 .0 1)的低。
days-old chickens were randomly divided into six groups of the same number:infected group, normal group and four infected -medicated groups. All chickens except normal group were inoculated with 1×10 5 sporulated Oocysts of Eimeria tenella and necropsied at 9 days after infection. The cecum tissue lesions were determined and the level of Lipid peroxide( LPO) and activities of Superoxide dismutase(SOD) and Glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in cecum,liver,spleen and kidney were compared. The results showed that LPO level in cecum and spleen of infected group were significantly higher(P<0.01) and lower ( P<0.01) than those of the normal group chickens, the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in cecum of infected group were significantly lower (P<0.01) and in spleen and kidney were markedly higher ( P<0.05 ) ( P<0.01) than those in normal group, but SOD activity in liver of infected group was significantly higher(p0.01) and that of GSH-Px was lower (P<0.01) . It indicated that in infected group chickens, the cecum lesions was accompanied with increasing LPO level and decreasing SOD?GSH-Px activities. There were differences or significantly differences in the activities of SOD and GSH-Px and LPO levels between the normal group and four infected-medicated groups at 9days after infection. This experement suggested that free radicals are involved in the progress of coccodiosis in chicken.
