摘要
媒介本体史与社会文化史是近年来以中国近代女性报刊为主题的两条研究路径,前者聚焦于女性报刊演变轨迹,后者侧重对女性报刊文本的社会文化语境分析,但两者多忽视媒介实践之于其主体——知识女性的重要意义。实际上,近代女性报刊不仅是新知识、新思想的载体,也是近代知识女性从传统才女完成自我身份重塑的实践空间。揭示近代女报与知识女性身份转型之互动关系,既不能脱离媒介文本,更要关注大众媒介的传播属性,从而深入探究媒介性别话语的表达机制、女报与知识女性"才""名"观念的互动,以及精英女性经由女报这一社会网络节点而形成的知识女性圈层的聚集、分化过程。
The ontological history of media and the social-cultural history have been two major approaches adopted in recent studies on modern women's newspapers and periodicals in China. The former focuses on the evolutionary course of women's newspapers and periodicals, the latter emphasizes the analysis of social and cultural contexts in women's newspapers and periodicals, but both of them have ignored the significant meaning of media practice to its subjects, educated women. In fact, modern women's newspapers and periodicals are not only a carrier of new knowledge and ideas, but they themselves also serve as a practical space for modern educated women to reconstruct their self-identity in their transition from traditional talented women to contemporary educated women. The examination of how modern women's newspapers and periodicals have interacted with educated women's identity transition cannot be separated from the media texts. What's more, the transmission property of mass media should also be taken into account to probe into the expression mechanism of media gender discourse, the interactions between women's newspapers and periodicals and educated women's ideas of "ability" and "fame", and the formation and stratification of educated women's circles which have taken shape as elite women participated in the social network through women's newspapers and periodicals.
