With correction of Witze's calculating model for the effects of the jet density and the supersonic jet expanded outside the nozzle,equations for simultaneous estimation of the supersonic and transient natural gas jet characteristics have been developed in the paper.Moreover the velocity penetration and spray angle of jet were calculated in various nozzle radius.The transient natural gas jet extending process used in MPI system was also revealed.
