语境就是人们常说的语言环境。语境的作用表现为促进或抑制对目标词的识别、预期句子成分、消解歧义、约束语义关系、定界搜索范围、易化言语理解和推论新知等。
In short,context is the language circumstance,and the function of context is mainly as follows:accelerating or inhibiting the identification of the target word,anticipating the sentence components,resolving ambiguity,constraining the semantic relation,delimiting the range of search,facilitating language understanding and inferring new information.There are two theories-modularity theories and interactive theories with regard to contextual function.
