The synthesis of high-silica(K,Na)-ZSM-48 zeolites in a nonaqueous system in the presence of Na^+ or K^+ or both and two organoamines,has been systematically studied.The characteristics of(K,Na)-ZSM-48 were studied by X-ray diffraetion analysis,SEM,infrared spectroscopy,DTA and TG.The lattice parameters of K/Na-,K-,and Na-ZSM-48 were determined.The catalytic properties of ZSM-48 zeolites were investigated.These results show that ZSM-48 containing both K^+ and Na^+ has special physicochemical properties and fairly high activity and selectivity for the direct synthesis of light olefins from syngas.
