表皮生长因子在睾丸生精过程中的调节作用 被引量:15

THE REGULATIVE ROLE OF EPIDERMAL GROWTH FACTOR IN SPERMATOGENESIS

摘要 表皮生长因子(Epidermal Growth Factor,EGF)是一种多肽激素,具有多种生物学活性,包括刺激各种上皮细胞的分裂与增殖。在雄性小鼠体内,大量的EGF产生于颌下腺。Tsutsumi指出EGF可能通过刺激生精发生过程中的减数分裂,而对男性生殖功能具有一种生理调节作用。我们通过对成熟与未成熟的小鼠施行颌下腺切除术,并于术后35天,对睾丸生精上皮周期中第7期与第8期的各级生精细胞进行了定量分析,结果显示未成熟小鼠在施行颌下腺切除手术后,生精上皮中各级生精细胞均少于相应的对照组;而成熟期小鼠在施行上述手术后仅A型精原细胞以后的各级生精细胞少于相应的对照组。这表明在精子发生过程中EGF不仅对减数分裂有刺激作用,而且对有丝分裂也有刺激作用。提示在控制精子发生过程中存在一个颌下腺-睾丸轴。 Epidermal growth factor (EGF) is a polypeptide hormone (with a molecular weight of 6045) with diverse biological activities, including to stimulate the division and proliferation of various epithelial cells. In male mice, large amounts of EGF are produced in the submandibular gland. Tsutsumi suggested that EGF has a physiological role in male reproductive function by stimulating meiotic division in spermatogenesis.We operated sialoadenectomy in the immature and mature male mice and assayed the quantities of various germ cells stages Ⅶ and stages Ⅷ during the cycle of the seminiferous epithelium, after 35 days following the sialoadenectomy. Comparing with the control mice, the results imdicated that all the various germ cells of the spermatogenic lineage decreased in immature group and all the various germ cells except A spermatogonia decreased in mature group after the sialoadenectomy. It showed that EGF stimulated not only the mitotic division but also the meiotic division of the germ cells during spermatogenesis. It suggested the presence of a submandibular gland-testis axis in the control of spermatogenesis.
