摘要
本文以我国西部地区年轻的直辖市——重庆为例 ,提出西部地区在目前工程建设迅猛发展时 ,除了要努力提高岩土工程技术水平 ,适应西部大开发的需要外 ,同时应注意提高环保意识 ,在岩土工程活动中充分利用环境岩土工程技术 。
Taking the new municipality in west China Chongqing as an example, the way for sustain able development of west China is suggested. It states, that with rapid development of engineering construc tion, in addition to the improvement of technical level of geotechnical projects to meet the needs of west Chi na development, there should be attention to the environmental protection by full use of environmental geotechnical engineering technology in geotechnical projects.
