The main procedures of GPS+HIP processing technology to manufacture Al 2O 3 based ceramic inserts, including mixing powders, pressing green blanks, expelling glue, gas pressure sintering(GPS), hot isostatic pressing(HIP) treatment and grinding of inserts are introduced.
