摘要
GM钢与Cr12MoV、D2钢的强度、韧性和耐磨性能的对比试验结果表明,GM钢的硬化能力较高铬工具钢高HRC2~3,强韧性能约高出一倍,冲击磨损抗力高一倍。GM钢的冷、热加工工艺及电加工性能良好,在高速冲床,多工位级进模和高强度螺栓滚丝轮上试用,使用寿命提高两至五倍,是制作精密、耐磨、长寿命模具以及替代高铬工具钢的理想材料。
The strength, toughness aad wear resistaace of new type die steel GM and high-chromium tool steel Cr12MoV, D2 were tested and compared. It is shown that steel GM can be heat-treated to hardness HRC2~3 higher than that of Cr12MoV, D2 steels. Strength and toughness of steel? GM are about one time higher and its impact wear resistance is one times higher than that of high-chromium tool steels. Technological properties, such as cold working, hot processing, electro-machining are still well. steel GM is applied to make dies used in high-speed punch press, multi-stage progressive dies and thread rolls for highstrength bolt, and working life is increased to2~5times. It is an ideal material used to make dies of precision, high wear-resistance and long service life, aad to replace high-chromium tool steels.
