摘要
借词是一种重要的社会语言现象，粤方言中的英语借词显得尤为突出。这种借词的大量出现有其历史原因和社会原因。其表现形式非常独特，其中又以音译形式居多。这种借词不但对粤方言产生了很大的影响，对普通话也产生了一定程度的影响。
Loanwords are an important sociolinguistic phenomenon. English loanwords are prominent in Cantonese. The appearing of the large number of English loanwords has historic cause and social cause. Among the peculiar formations, transliteration is dominant. The loanwords have brought much influence not only on Cantonese but also on Putonghua to some extent.
