摘要
本文认为语言学对于语言教学,特别是对外语教学确能起到一定作用,它能加深人们对语言本质的理解,提高人们对语言教学与学习本质的认识,并能帮助语言教师在教学过程中做适当的判断与决定。因此,学习一定的语言学理论并在实践中恰当运用,对教学大有益处。然而,语言学与语言教学的目的不同,不能期待它解决一切教学问题。
Linguistics has an important role in language teaching, especially in foreign language teaching.It can make people understand the characters of languages and help improve the awareness oflanguage learning and teaching. It will also contribute to make sound judgement and decision forteachers in language teaching process. There fore it will benefit the language teaching to learnsome theories of linguistics and practice it. However, linguistics differs from the purpose oflanguage teaching. It can't he expected to solve every teaching problems.
