摘要
本文在回顾广东小城镇发展现状及特点的基础上 ,分析了存在的主要问题 ,提出了搞好小城镇建设是作为广东省率先实现现代化工作的重要组成部分的规划思路及到 2 0 0 5年 ,争取 1 0 0个左右的小城镇发展为城镇人口3— 5万人 ,个别突破 1 0万人的中心镇 (甚至更大 ) ,以形成集聚效益。到 2 0 1 0年 ,再争取 2 0 0个左右的小城镇能够成为适应当地经济与社会发展需要的布局合理、设施完善、具有独特风貌和有一定规模的新城镇的发展目标 。
The development of town is the most important factor in the urbanization process. The great progress has been made in the towns of Guangdong province since reform. The paper reviews the development and characters of Guangdong province towns' development, analyses problems in towns of Guangdong Province, and points out the thinking about planning of Guangdong province towns and the aim will be achieved in 10 years, which 100 towns will become the center towns, which have 30-50 thousands populations, even more than 100 thousands in 2005. And the number may get to 300 in the year of 2010. The countermeasures are given in the end of the article.
