The status of cytotechnology in biopharmaceutical industry

摘要 细胞工程是生物制药工业中的关键技术 ,它是利用动物细胞体外培养和扩增来生产生物产品 ,或者作为发现和测试新药的工具。本文综述了细胞工程发展的历史、现状和未来 。 Animal cell technology plays a substantial role in the field of biopharmaceuticals and may be defined as the use of animal cells propagated in vitro for the manufacture of bioproducts and as vehicles in the discovery and/or the testing of medicines. This paper summarized the overview of the past, present and future of animal cell technology, its potential and its limitations in biopharmaceutical industry.
