摘要
数学史上关于圆的度量和圆周率的推算，是中小学数学教学中十分有价值的史料．但对这一数学史实的认识有许多模糊的地方，运用与中学数学教学有关的例证澄清这一数学史实，给数学教学以重要启示：关于圆周率的教育价值应得到充分挖掘和客观体现．
According to Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Arithmetic and their annotations by Liu Hui, this paper discusses how to calculate the area of circle and ratio of the circumference of to its diameter，putting forward to a case on mathematical education of middle school to clear up some facts, gaining an important enlightenment from this: Value of mathematical education must be fully excavated and objective embodied.
