刘徽创造了割圆术、十进分数、小单位数及求微数的思想;定义了许多重要数学概念,并强调“率”的作用;他推广了重差术,提出了“刘徽原理”;在例证方面,他采用模型、图形、例题来论证或推广有关算法,形成中国传统数学风格;他严肃、认真、客观和以理服人的精神,为后世树立良好的风气.
Liu Hui had created the thought of the cyclotomy, the decimal, small number of units and asks the micro number, defined many important mathematics concepts, and emphasized the function of ＂rate＂. He had promoted the measure technique and proposed ＂Liu Hui principle＂. In the aspect of illustration, he used the model, the graph, and the sample question to prove or promote related algorithm, and formed the Chinese tradition mathematics style. Being serious, earnest, and objective, Liu Hui always convinced people by reasoning. He set up the good atmosphere for the later generation.
