摘要
专题研究和通史撰述构成中国现代史学发展的两翼,但民国学界却长期存在重专题轻通史的弊端。有鉴于此,清华"史学研究会"在处理专题研究和通史撰述的关系上进行了可贵的探索。研究会成员既在专题研究上有所创获,又以创制新通史为目标,探讨通史义例,从而有力地推动了中国史学的现代转型。
Monographic research and general history writing constitute the two wings of development of the Chinese modern historiography.However,the Republican circles laid importance on monographic research rather than general history.Tsinghua＂Historiography Association＂carried out a valuable exploration into the relationship between the two aspects.Members of the association have achieved some achievements in monographic research on the one hand.On the other hand,they created a new general history as the goal to explore cases in general history so as to promote the transformation of modern Chinese historiography.
