摘要
20世纪的中国文化变动十分剧烈,儒家思想在百年中先后遭遇了四次大的冲击,这些冲击与挑战对儒家的命运发生了根本性的影响。儒家思想在20世纪的经历、过程和展开,就是不断地面对这些挑战所作的回应,依次表现为五个阶段。目前的儒学,虽缺乏体系化的形态,但其"在场"的形式却是格外丰富的,譬如"学术儒学"、"文化儒学"、"民间儒学"等,还有新世纪以来不断发展的民间化和通俗化的走向,这些扎根状态都预示着现代儒学复兴的第二次机遇的来到。伴随着中国崛起和中华文化复兴的进程,新的儒家思想理论和新的儒家哲学的登场,也是指日可待的。
The 20^th century saw a radical transformation of Chinese culture. During a hundred years Confucianism experienced four severe impacts. These impacts or challenges have exerted a profound influence on Confucianism. The development of Confucianism in the 20^th century can be seen as a process of responding to different challenges. This process is divided into five phases. Contemporary Confucianism, though not very systematic, is showing many faces, e.g. academic Confucianism, cultural Confucianism and folk Confucianism and so on. In the 20^th century there is a sign that Confucianism is taking root in the folk culture and popular culture. This gives Confucianism a second chance for revival in the modern times. With the rise of China and the revival of Chinese culture, new theory and philosophy of Confucianism can be expected to emerge in the near future.
