摘要
迈入21世纪,汉语海外民族志成为了中国人类学发展的一个新的前沿。随着中国学者开展的海外田野工作日益频繁,田野方法正在经受更严格的考验。本文从"越界"这一现象入手,分别从阶层、年龄、学科和意识形态等四个方面考察了海外田野工作的特殊性质。跨越各种边界是田野工作的常态,重视这一现象有助于巩固人类学方法论,推动汉语海外民族志的发展。
Chinese overseas ethnography has become increasingly important as a new frontier in Chinese anthropology since 2000. The traditional methods of fieldwork are being exposed to more stringent tests along with the growing frequency of overseas fieldwork by the Chinese scholars. By analyzing the particularities of overseas fieldwork from the phenomena of fieldworkers＇ ＂crossing borders＂ in the aspects of social class, age, discipline and ideology, this article concludes that ＂crossing borders＂ is normal in overseas fieldwork and it deserves more attention since it may help improve overseas ethnography.
