摘要
谢灵运诗歌在英语世界的译介始于20世纪60年代的傅乐山,现已成为西方汉学研究的重要部分。本文通过历时视角,梳理评价了不同时期9个代表性译本的特色及得失,力图呈现一张清晰的谢诗英译图谱,并对其未来的接受前景做出了预测。
Initiated by J. D. Frodsham in the 1960s,the study on Hsieh Lingyün＇s poetry has become an important part of western sinology. Based on a diachronic survey,this paper evaluates the merits and demerits of nine representative English translations in different periods,thus hopefully presenting a clear picture of Hsieh＇s poetry in English translation,and making predictions of the prospect of its reception.
